(Tusheti National Park, Tusheti Protected Landscape and Tusheti State Nature Reserve)
The endemic level of plants is amazingly high. 11 Kinds of Tusheti flora are Georgian and 230 of Caucasian edemas (which is more then 20% of total amount of Caucasian endemics). From the kinds of endemic animals, there have to be distinguished: Caucasian black grouse, Caucasian snowcock and East Caucasian leopard. Batsara Protected Area
Batsara Reserve is located in the north-eastern part of Georgia, 900 – 2000 meters above sea level, on the southern slope of the Caucasus range and comprises the river Batsara basin. Climate is moderately humid.

* Tbilisi – Batsara - 184 km.
* Tbilisi – Akhmeta - 174 km.
Batsara State Reserve (area of 3040 ha.) was established in 1936.
The oldest yew-tree woodlands are as old as 1500-2000 years and it’s unique in the world.

Babaneuli State Natural Protected Area
Babaneuli State Natural Reserve is located on the bellow of Eatern (Kakhetian) Caucasus main range. from the left side of river Alazani. on the right side of river Shtori, between the villages of Laliskuri, Babaneuri and Argokhi.
Babaneuri Nature Reserve was established to protect and conserve a relic groves Zelkova carpinifolia of tertiary period and study this plan scientifically. It also protects animal species dwelling on this territory.
